Where Shall We Begin…

We will start with a story of mine. A true story that I myself was fortunate enough to witness, that changed my entire life forever…

Once there was an individual (to keep their name out of this story, we’ll call them “person number 1”) This person had these incredibly unique characteristics and a plethora of undiscovered talents and qualities within themselves. But they were searching for something without knowing its purpose, maybe sort of like yourself at this moment. Well anyway, they just happened to be so lost or naive, following several different roads at the same time.

You can imagine how that must have been for them, right? …

That is until they came to witness the journey of another individual who knew exactly what they were doing and what their purpose was, (introducing “person number 2” for name privacy sake) . This person was filled with such great confidence and a very strong sense of security. They created these amazing projects day in and day out, never running out of ideas and always, I mean always, produced work that was just about perfect! People loved them and their ideas.

Well, at least it seemed that way right… However, it is not all sunshine and it actually rained sometimes inside person number 2’s mind, believe it or not. “No it didn’t”, you might say. “That person was filled with confidence and a strong sense of security always creating excellent work like you said.” But oh it did, and I know this because person number 2 specifically told us. This person who seemed to have it all together was filled with so many doubts, questions, ideas, answers? (answers to what?) Exactly. Their image was so close to perfect, yet they mentally, physically, and emotionally were not. They were another human, just as person number 1 was and “perfect”, actually, ceases to exist.

“Perspective”, that is the word you have been looking for, not “perfect.” Person number 2 has an incredibly unique perspective that contributes a great amount to their character and their works. “What do you mean by this?” Well it rains inside of their mind, remember? Not literally. They become saturated by their doubts, questions, ideas, and answers, etc. Overwhelmed at times by their own thought. But this doesn’t stop them, for person number 2 is only following one road.


Ready, now here’s the kicker…

The first individual was you.

You were brought to this site and to this specific article by one of the several roads you are traveling. Let’s think about that for a second, no a minute, no an hour, no a… you get it? Through every single one of the roads you were traveling, straight, back, left, right, up, down, around, diagonal, forward, reverse, in a circle, a curve, through a loop, upmost random, and downright chaotic…

I thank organized chaos for bringing you to me, “person number 1”. I thank time, the seconds, minutes, hours, days, etc… that brought us here to this WORD?? “Oh my…. my, my my… don’t start with that too.” Alright, for continuity sake, I will keep going.

I’d love to have known your name. You had an immeasurable amount of undiscovered qualities, talents, and purpose within your own soul. You just had to find it.

But I didn’t know you so what am I talking about? Well remember how I said “you can imagine how that must’ve been for them, right?” when talking about following several roads at the same time. Well could you? It’s amazing. How did you picture it in your mind? Did you see the roads? What was the character like? How did you picture them? What roads?

I have so, many, many, many, questions for you about that simple, yet extremely powerful scenario. I also have doubts, fears, questions, ideas, answers? (do I have answers?) …

Wait now, isn’t this sounding familiar? …

“But you said I’m person number 1.” No, read it again… go ahead… I’ll wait for you right here… and continue when you are back… OK, cool. I said person number 1 WAS you. That is until you witnessed the journey of the person who had it all together and created day in and day out, glowing with ideas., with such great confidence and a strong sense of security and PURPOSE.
